Most firms do not need
more generic AI training.
They need a practical way to apply AI to live commercial work – from partner conversations and client development to pitches, proposals and internal decision-making.
Some partners need a confidential space to think clearly about AI and its impact on clients, pricing and their own standing in the firm. BD and marketing teams need structured, hands-on support to use AI in the work they already do every day, safely and commercially.
The services below are ordered as a ladder, from a single written review to retained advisory. Each stands alone; several credit in full against the next step, so a first engagement is a deposit, never a detour. Every service is built around concentrated working sessions – none longer than 90 minutes – with substantive written work carrying the value.
The Pitch Review
A senior second opinion on how your pitches get made.
-
01
Complete the intake form and submit one pitch or proposal document (final or near-final version, up to 30 pages).
-
02
Wilson Levy reviews the document and the production process described.
-
03
Within five working days you receive a written Pitch Review of three to four pages, specific to your firm and the matter type.
A written review covering: where time and effort concentrate in your current process; which stages would benefit from AI-assisted workflow and which should stay fully human; three prioritised, practical changes; and a short note on what to measure so improvement is visible.
BD and marketing leaders who want an evidence-based starting point before committing to workshops or a wider programme. Partners who suspect the pitch process is heavier than it needs to be.
A 60-minute debrief to talk the review through with your BD lead or partner sponsor – £450, added at the time of booking.
£1,250 per review
The full fee is credited against an Acceleration Workshop or fractional engagement commenced within 90 days. No meetings required – the review is delivered in writing.
The Executive AI Fluency Debrief
Where does your leadership group actually stand on AI?
-
01
Senior leaders complete the Executive AI Fluency™ assessment individually online. It takes under ten minutes and individual responses are never shared.
-
02
Wilson Levy analyses the aggregated results.
-
03
The group receives a 90-minute facilitated debrief – virtual or in person – presenting the firm's fluency profile, what it means commercially, and the two or three moves that would shift it.
-
04
A written summary follows within five working days, suitable for ExCom or board circulation.
An aggregated fluency profile of your leadership group; a facilitated 90-minute session built around your results, not a standard deck; and a written summary with prioritised recommendations.
Managing partners, ExCom members and senior leaders who need a credible, evidence-based view of the firm's real position before setting strategy, briefing clients, or investing in programmes.
£1,950 for up to 15 participants
Larger groups scoped individually.
AI-Enabled BD & Marketing Acceleration Workshop
Practical, hands-on capability for BD and marketing teams.
Two 90-minute interactive sessions, a week apart, delivered virtually or in person, using real BD and marketing scenarios from your firm – spaced practice, with a week of real-world application between sessions. It goes deeper than the firm-wide 90-minute Catching Up Confidence Workshop and is built specifically for BD and marketing teams. Workshop dates are released in limited slots.
£3,950 for up to 15 participants
The full fee is credited against a fractional engagement commenced within 90 days.
The Playbook Sprint
The AI in BD Playbook – without the three-month programme.
-
01
Your BD lead completes a structured intake covering current pitch process, content production and tool landscape.
-
02
One 90-minute working session with Wilson Levy to pressure-test the intake and capture the detail that never makes it into forms.
-
03
Over the following two weeks, Wilson Levy produces your firm-specific AI in BD Playbook.
-
04
A written walkthrough note accompanies the playbook so the team can adopt it without a further session.
A firm-specific playbook covering: AI-assisted pitch and proposal workflow, mapped to your current process; content recipes built around what your team already produces; guardrails and quality guidance appropriate to your risk posture; and a 90-day adoption sequence.
Mid-tier and upper-mid firms with capable but lean BD and marketing teams – the same firms the retained programme serves, at an earlier stage of commitment.
A 60-minute live walkthrough of the playbook with your BD lead, in place of or alongside the written walkthrough note – £550, added at the time of booking.
£2,450
Credited in full against a fractional engagement commenced within 90 days – the Sprint functions as the first month of retained work for firms that continue.
Ways to work

Capability Package
Catching Up for Law Firms
A capability-building package for mid-tier firms who want practical, firm-wide AI confidence without a major transformation programme – built for partners who are stretched and BD teams that are lean. -
Two Places
Founding Clients
Two founding-client places for law firms: 20% off a first engagement – from the Acceleration Workshop to the Catching Up for Law Firms package (from £2,600 rather than £3,250) – in exchange for a named or role-attributed case study once the work has delivered measurable results. Case study wording is agreed jointly before publication. Enquire about a founding place.
All work is scoped individually and fees are agreed based on role and context. This keeps the advisory genuinely bespoke.
From AI awareness to
practical commercial use.
- Pitches turned around in materially less partner and BD time – without reducing quality or personalisation.
- Client-facing content produced at two to three times the previous rate, using the same team.
- Teams that reach consistent, independent AI use within 90 days – without ongoing dependence on external support.
- A prioritised, firm-specific view of where AI directly supports fee growth – and where it does not belong.
- A practical bridge between individual confidence-building and firm-level commercial application.
- Equity and senior partners, managing partners and ExCom members.
- BD, marketing, strategy, innovation and other senior business professionals in law firms.
- For some firms, the right starting point is a confidential partner conversation; for others, the BD and marketing team is the most practical entry point.
